POL-TEC ® GmbH & Co. KG has reached another milestone in the government equipment market. The company was selected as the winner of the tender process of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) for the supply of illumination modules (BelM) for the new special forces pistol (P14/P14K). This continues POL-TEC ® 's successful path in the field of professional equipment for government units.
Important contribution to the operational capability of special forces
The lighting modules commissioned as part of the tender serve to tactically optimize the new P14 special forces pistol in 9 mm x 19 caliber. The modules are specifically designed to illuminate the area in front of the vehicle up to a distance of 40 meters in both the visible and near-infrared (IR) range. With a minimum output of 300 lumens in the visible spectrum and 100 mW in the IR range, they offer an outstanding combination of performance and reliability. Furthermore, the lighting modules are optimally matched to the P14 and ensure unrestricted functionality of the weapon.
Long-term cooperation with the Bundeswehr
The supply contract has a term of 84 months, thus establishing another long-term partnership between POL-TEC ® and the German Armed Forces.
