FAST™ is a series of scope mounts and platforms designed to provide end users with a faster sight image compared to standard height mounts. An optical centerline height of 2.26 inches allows for faster and easier target acquisition when wearing electronic hearing protection, communications headphones, night vision devices and gas masks, and enables faster visual processing of the battlefield by promoting an upright posture. An upright posture also helps users maintain a neutral spinal position, which is more comfortable when carrying helmets, plate carriers and other heavy equipment.
The FAST™ Micro Mount features integrated standard height backup rear sights that keep weapons organized without compromising performance. Both front and rear rear sights are fully adjustable for windage and elevation adjustments. The front sight post can be removed so that the rear backup sight aperture can be used with a traditional front sight setup such as our fixed or folding FUSION rear sights (if equipped) to create a more conventional sight radius. However, the built-in front/rear backup rear sight is perfect as a backup for particularly short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is critical for mounting lights and lasers.
Designed for Aimpoint® Micro (H1, H2, T1, T2, CompM5) and other optics with the Aimpoint® Micro footprint found on many Sig Sauer®, Holosun®, Primary Arms® and Vortex Optics® platforms. NOTE: DOES NOT FIT AIMPOINT COMP M5S OR M5B.
The FAST™ Micro Mount comes with a standard rail clamp mount but is designed to easily accept an American Defense Manufacturing® patented QD Auto-Lock™ lever (sold separately). This mounting option allows for quick removal.
The FAST™ Micro Mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and anodized black or FDE.
